How to turn one million to two hundred million with real estate
According to former President of the United States of America, Franklin D Roosevelt, “Real estate cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world.”
When you listen to investment coaches, they will tell you to buy stocks, shares, and other securities, but they are well aware that beating the market on a consistent basis is extremely difficult (some would say impossible) for the average investor, especially when risk is taken into account.
Why is it so hard to beat the market? You may ask. A prime reason is that the skewed pattern of market returns stacks the odds against investors. Typically, a few high-performing stocks pull the average up, while the majority of stocks underperform. Thus, buying and owning a few individual stocks will usually lead to poor performance.
You must also bear in mind that in order to begin trading, you may need professional expertise that even a thorough course may not sufficiently equip you with. You’ll need to learn how to read charts, keep track of current patterns to figure out what to do next, and use trading tools, among other things.
This is why for every Warren Buffet who made billions in the stock market, ten other men lost all in a systemic crisis.
This is where Real Estate investment trumps it all. If you can buy the right land and sell at the right time, you have the potential of changing the fortune of your entire family.
Let’s look at the story below
Two friends: both bought land in Guzape for N1m, one sold for N4m 4 years later, the other sold for N200m in 2013!

One delayed and made a 19,900% profit, while the other couldn’t wait and just made a 300% profit. The irony is that while the guy who made a 300% profit in four years seemed like the one who lost out here, he still won massively because if he had invested that same amount of money in the stock market, he would not have made as much in the same time period unless he were a master trader.
Taught me a very valuable lesson; always wait for an investment to “mature”

While buying shares is smart and can secure your future, land banking (buying land for future sales) is a smarter choice.
Years ago, a friend told me he wanted to buy shares. He had two million naira. I told him to go for land. He followed my advisory. Today, he has over about three buildings, and over a hundred plots of land. He buys and sells land like kicking football.

That plot of land selling for 1 to 5 Million Naira today at Ibeju Lekki could be the perfect retirement plan for you in the next 10 to 15 years. You don’t even need to ever live on that land. Like the earlier tweet, just buy, hold, and sell. You will never worry about carrying out regular maintenance of the land or fear a “Real Estate Market Crash” as we see in the stock market.
You can either buy land on Windspring Estate where you need just N500,000 to start the process to becoming the owner of a government excised land (Read more about land titles and what they mean HERE) or you can buy Avalanche Park Estate which is a few minutes away from La Campagne Tropicana with an initial deposit of N200,000.
